Please bear with me if you are viewing my blog, and notice some things that are noticeably different. I am currently experimenting with some different styling.
I do plan to rearrange the design of my site a bit. I have not yet settled on the look as of yet, but it will be different, and will be cool.
I’m going for an even more Web 2.0 look and feel. I do like the look of my site, but I feel that it could be much better than it currently is, plus I would like to make better use of space.
I would also like to use some of the graphical design knowledge that I have recently gained, in order to improve the interface, as well as the eye-candy.
In the coming days, when I have a chance, I will be experimenting with .css and graphical elements.
Wish me luck!

Good luck! If you need help just ask
I have a couple of years with webdesigning experience.
Hi Brent,
Being an old c++ programmer, all this HTML stuff strikes me as tremendously inefficient. However, I have figured some of it out and will be happy to discuss it. Our email is listed.

Thanks Ernie, but I have been developing websites since 2001. I do it for a living, and lately have not had much time for my own website, but I cannot complain because I have a good opportunity to advance my career.
I might end up keeping things just as they are, because it still looks better (in terms of uniqueness and creativity) than 90% of the other blogs on wp.com imo.
We’ll see. I get myself so deep in .css, that it seems like a bitch to port it to another template.
My goal is to eventually migrate back to sandbox. I’ve got some cool ideas in mind, but it will most likely be weeks away from being finished.
Since you’re experimenting, you might want to try the new wordpress widget for videos, pictures and music.
It’s called the Box.net media widget

Thanks, I saw that earlier today.
Actually, I was speaking strictly of design and navigation using .css. I really did not have anything to do with function in mind, especially since something like that is not anything that I can change myself.
But I appreciate the helpful thought.
Truly, I’m looking to simplify things, not further complicate them with more scripts that do not validate to xhtml standards.
